Pascal Scherz holds a double master’s degree in Energy & Electrical Engineering and Sustainable Energy Systems from the Technical University of Stuttgart and Chalmers University of Technology with a focus on electrical power engineering. His technical competence is wide-ranging, due to the versatility of his energy technology studies.

In addition to classical electrical engineering, areas such as artificial intelligence, computer-implemented inventions, high-frequency technology, battery technology and mobile communications technology are among his areas of competence. Other notable areas of activity are in the areas of integrated circuits, semiconductor and laser technology, integrated electronic components, opto-electronics and sensors, information and communication technology, and telecommunications. 

   

PRACTICE AREAS

In addition to his work in patent prosecution for small and medium-sized enterprises at the various German and European patent and trademark offices, Pascal Scherz also represents clients in opposition and appeal proceedings, in revocation proceedings at the Federal Patent Court and the Federal Court of Justice, and in patent infringement proceedings. Furthermore, employee invention law disputes are one of Pascal Scherz’s areas of responsibility.
